Do you think Salah will leave?
I think it's looking pretty likely actually. His agent is a piece of shit, and will be pointing out that players that aren't as good as him. Pogba and players like that, will be on a lot more money than he is.
I think he'd stay if we paid what he wants, but I don't think that's going to happen. He's got enough in the tank to keep players for another few years you would think, so it is a bit annoying in that respect, but we've lost big players before.
Shame as we've built such a good team and I don't think he will enjoy his football as much elsewhere, but money talks.
I also very much doubt he'd do a Torres and go to shit if he did go. Far too good currently for that.

I honestly don't care.
We've been through this before so many times and always seem to come out on top

I know what you mean. He has to leave at some point.
Bit of a shame, but we'll move on, and we got the best out of him.

I think it will get sorted. Don’t forget us and City are the two best teams in Europe. Anywhere else would be a step down.

I agree, but it's still always so disappointing when it happens for petty reasons like that.I honestly don't care.

Re: Do you think Salah will leave?
I think he will too. We don't know how far apart they are on wages. So much speculation.
This does feel different to previous sagas - Torres, Suarez, Sterling. The others left to "win" things (apparently) - we were inconsistent in our challenges of trophies and so it was a convenient reason. This team is challenging for everything and has done so consistently.
Realistically, there isn't a step up for him. Who is likely to be able to sign him. PSG? As a Mbap replacement? He'll do well in France. From our perspective it seems like a bad move, from his? Probably not the worst
Real Madrid? Apparently signing Mbap unlikely to be able to afford both
Chelsea? Nope.
City? Wouldn't rule it out especially if no other offers come in. Not sure they would come for him though.
Newcastle? Interesting one, he could be their big signing - the catalyst. Would be dumb for Salah as he wouldn't be in a team that's challenging until he's 31 or 32.

And while Salah is the main man - it's not like we don't have other stars in the team. And with Jota, Diaz, Mane and Bobby we aren't going lose all of our fire power.I think he will too. We don't know how far apart they are on wages. So much speculation.

No, but it will be a loss. Won't go to shit like we did when Suarez left though.

Re: Do you think Salah will leave?
Rumours abound this morning that he's going to sign.
Re: Do you think Salah will leave?
He’ll stay .
It’s the agent with his own greedy agenda that’s creating the issue. I think Mane is the more likely to jump ship , he never seems to be happy

Re: Do you think Salah will leave?
Probably not very.
All news outlets have been saying it for a couple of days though.
Be good to see a player stay rather than stamp their feet and leave for more money. Not many clubs could afford him, but a couple could.
