Did you ever do the Ranni quest? You get it when you go through that Carian place with the creepy hand things that attack you. I just found that earlier, seems pretty good so far.

I’m thinking I might take a short break from Elden Ring, much as I love it. I was off all last week and didn’t do much else apart form play that and when not playing it watching videos and streams of it

I really want to start Bloodborne, that might be a nice half time interlude

I just had a proper Elden Ring moment, I just did Radahn on my second attempt

I went on YouTube after to see how others got on as it seemed a bit too easy but it seems people have real difficulty with him. I’m probably just over levelled now but I’m taking the anyways

Because it's got a reputation of being difficult like all Souls games do.... but for good reason. They aren't unfair they just don't hold your hand, you have to be good to finish them. I've always found that refreshing.

This one particularly though with the open (and fucking gorgeous and atmospheric) world and encouragement to explore and proceed in your own way… it hits the spot. I remember being a bit intimidated at first but now if some enemy gets me I’m like, what? And I’m straight back in there to repay the insult Love it.

I noticed yesterday a few bits have changed so I googled it and there has been a new patch which apparently has completely nerfed Radahn, that explains it then. I knew I wasn't that good

Was Radahn nerfed? I thought it was just weapons that have been nerfed? that's really annoying if Radahn has been nerfed as he doesn't need to be. Perfect boss fight, it's superb.
