I eat pretty well and train at the gym and have a physical job so I feel I’m in pretty decent shape. But I’m dead curious to know what I can achieve without all the empty calories in copious amounts of beer. There’s no way I could quit in summer with all the hot days but autumn/winter could be the one.

I also waste so much time just supping beer and fannying around on YouTube or whatever, a more productive lifestyle might not be a bad thing. I quit weed and cbd and all that towards the end of last year, if I can just stop enjoying beer so much that’ll be my last vice.

I am also thinking the same thing, but no where near as long. From tomorrow until I go camping next month. 3-4 Weeks. Really want to be hitting the gym again after missing it for two weeks. I waste a lot of spare time drinking/ being hungover of late and it feels like I'm acheving fuck all, which is true.

Yeah, I stopped that CBD stuff as I was getting dizzy spells at work. I may have been taking more than I should have though. I was feeling fine and in a good mood, but I was getting worried about being dizzy until the penny dropped about the cause.

I get so much more done when I'm not hungover. So much more productive and happier as well to be honest. I eat OK, but my job is sitting at a desk, so that doesn't help. I am going in earlier tomorrow morning (about two hours which I won't be paid for come to think of it. My idea) to lump a load of boxes around. I used to have quite big shoulders when it was my job to do that. I don't mind helping in the warehouse, but there's helping and doing someones job for them, so I don't do it as much as I used to.

The only problem with staying off the booze is the boredom really. Like you say, it's hard when the weather is nice. Not so bad in the winter when you don't feel so bad about being inside for long periods and can stick a game on or watch a load of films in a row.
