Finally finally finally after months and months I am close to the end of AC Valhalla. Should be finished tomorrow hopefully.

Its an epic game and I’ve really enjoyed it but my god it’s soooooo long and complex. I’m a bit burnt out on it tbf, I’ve made a concerted effort the last few days to get it done. Did you play it Dave? I forget.

I did. Loved it as well. Played it a lot before last Winterval, and it got a tad boring. went back to it around March and I passed a hell of a lot of time on it. Would love a game like this to player over this years hols.

Got the DLC for it as well, which wasn't that great actually.

Yeah became a real chore for a while but redeemed itself I think. I’ll be on something a bit lighter next, Borderlands 3. Lighthearted and fun grinding. Unlike your mum.

Just bought Far Cry 6 as a winterval pressie to myself seeing as I’m stuck isolating for the next week. Can’t wait to get stuck in, loved the last two of those.

On a side note it still sort of amazes me that back when I was a kid you’d load up a computer game from a cassette and just now I just went on the iPad, bought the game and set it downloading without even getting out of bed. Old cunt amazed by progress shocker

Some great games. Elden Ring, Diablo 4, Forspoken, The Callisto Protocol, GT7 and Hogwarts Legacy. Probably going to be the best year in gaming for some time to come

I have heard that the Guardians of the Galaxy game is great fun. This goes against all my instincts, but I've bought it anyway.

GOTG is good fun so far actually. Dialogue like Uncharted with a load of shooting.

GOTG is pretty fucking good actually. First couple of levels not so much, but I've spent the last two evenings playing this for hours. Actually worried I'm near the end now so I've switched it off so I can play it tomorrow night as I'm going nowhere.

None of the human characters look like the people in the film, so the money they have saved on that they must have plowed into the game. Good idea
