I read five pages of it a year or so ago, but I've been reading it for the last two nights, and it's so well thought out it's scarey.

Pretty good read, but it's meant to be a precurser for what's meant to be an excellent World War Z.

Wouldn't normally read books like this, but it's alright tbf.

I might give that a go some day when I don't have about 15 other books that urgently need my attention that are all thicker than the erection length of a mid to large sized Negro male in the presence of Beyonce in a flimsy little vest and gold hot pants doing that booty shake thing whilst eating a calypso.

Buuuuungahhhh?

I've never read a book on football, although I can read biogs, not footballers biogs though. What do you normally read?

I tried to buy that 'epic swindle' book about hicks and gillette in the airport last week but they didn't have it
I doubt I'd read it mind books really are not my thing

I've heard that's a good read actually, but it hard to recommend something at the best of times tbf.

If you liked Adrian Mole years ago, then I really would say read "Weapons of Mass Destruction". Average sized book, and a real return to form. I loved it, and it's not for teens.

Not everyone read that growing up though, so if you liked Fight Club, then read Survivor written by the same bloke. I read that book in two days

Catch 22 is the best book ever written, but it's a fair size.

Like I say, if you liked them, then you'll love it. I thought it was top notch.

Poor old Sue is going blind now though.

Talk the books to someone Sue :icon_thumbsup:

As an avid reader I have loved my kindle the last decade or so. What’s not to love, an entire library in your pocket, lovely.

But recently I rediscovered my love for actual books. And rather than buy new on Amazon, just go on eBay and get what you want from World of Books or music magpie or wherever. Preowned but like 2 or 3 quid. It’s glorious.

Just ordered a whole bunch of hard sci fi and also Catch 22. Cheap as chips.
