RE: The Last of Us Remastered
Not picked it up in a few days. Too much football on today.
I hope they bring out some more DLC soon. I'm getting through it pretty quickly second time round.

RE: The Last of Us Remastered
Well, I've just sat here for about six hours and finished it. I did order two new games from Amazon with a voucher I got for Christmas, but it dawned on me yesterday that I had them sent to work, so I'm not going to see them for another week or so.
RE: The Last of Us Remastered
Yeah I, not far off finishing it. I've not done the DLC yet though so will do that straight after.
Not sure what I'll play next. I do want GTA but only if its cheap.

RE: The Last of Us Remastered
The DLC is great, but very, very short. As in ten minutes short.
I ordered that Shadow of Mordor and the other AC game (for the PS3 that one).
There isn't anything else out, so I'm pissed off that I got it sent to the wrong place.

RE: The Last of Us Remastered
Just remembered I still have COD. That won't last long though. Don't worry about it for now Rich. I might have a look in the shops tomorrow.
I've still got to finish Skyrim at some point too. Might get that out of the way.

RE: The Last of Us Remastered
It really isn't. All the tension has gone since it was still pretty fresh in the memory. I was also a bit more experimental this time around and realised you could shoot a zombie and you wouldn't get heard a lot of the time.
The bit where you are going through the tunnels with that black bloke and his brother there is a room where there are quite a few zombies and I must have tried that and got killed loads of times when I first played it. I felt quite smug when I first completed it after half an hour of crawling around. This time I blasted my way around it whilst whistling at the same time.
Seemed to have a lot more ammo as well, but that can't be true.
What is the point of maps in this game? You pick them up and it prompts you to look at them, but when you do it's not clear enough for you to read them, and the game is so linear, you really don't need them.
And fucking Firefly tags. Who cares?

I figured the maps weren't so much to be used, they were just more of an reason for Joel to act like he knew where he was going to make it seem more realistic.
I think the firefly pendants and that are just for the trophy whores.

RE: The Last of Us Remastered
It was a great little story, but so bloody short.
I won the water pistol fight.

I thought it's length was reasonable tbf.
I would the watertight, the car window thing, and the other thing.

Re: The Last of Us Remastered
The Last of Us is an utterly brilliant game. I'm about 5 years behind everybody else here but I only just got round to playing it recently, I finished it last night(PS4 Remaster) It's perfectly paced, decent controls, gr8 graphics but the story and emotion in the game is what sets it apart from it's peers...
The bit with the black fella and his brother(ike Rich said), being shit at killing clickers to begin with, Joel not being able to jump very far some reason ffs lol, taping a pair of scissors to a bit of pipe to turn it into a badass melee weapon, ladders - lots of ladders, an inherent fear of generators, a perfectly placed throw of a molotov cocktail ; all these things made the experience. You lot already knew this is in 2k13, so excuse me gushing over it now.
It's up there with the very best story based games I have played, GTA: Vice City, MGS3, RDR. At times it reminded me of Resi 4, but without the camp.
The ending was a bit of a letdown though wasn't it?

Re: The Last of Us Remastered
It is truly a gr8 game. I played it on PS3 then again on PS4 and loved it both times. I thought the ending was excellent, if dark. While it's fresh in your mind have a look at the trailer for the next one
It's going to be something special imho.

I bet it won't be anywhere near as good as the first one.

Re: The Last of Us Remastered
Yeah I think I was a bricker too. Been a while since I've played it now though.
