Re: Covid
Goverment reckon we should see the impact of the vacine in two weeks. Not entirely sure how, but we'll see.
The infection rate has halved around here, but they're saying it hasn't fallen as quickly as they expected.

Re: Covid
There's just no good news around at the moment. One bloke is working from home as his wife is being treated for bladder cancer. One bloke is off as his dad died last week from this. I spoke to him on the phone this morning and he told me his uncle died the weekend as well. And another workmate is off as his partners dad died yesterday as well.
Right load of shit.
Right load of shit.
Re: Covid
It’s awful. I popped on that new 365 forum the other day and some forummer has died of it. It’s everywhere.
And the people that are sick and dying from it are only part of the story. The grief and misery of the families and friends that probably can’t even visit the hospitals or funerals. Even the stresses and strains on those of us lucky enough to have not been too badly affected is a real worry. One of my best mates who I’ve known all my life is getting all down and melancholy which is not like him. But he has two jobs, a mrs and young kid to think about.
There’s going to be a world wide party when all this is over.

That is a real shit actually. Might help shut some fucking deniers up though
Re: Covid
Deary me
“If anyone else is doing things better than us they must be doing it wrong, we know best”Ms van der Leyen also implied that the UK's early success in its vaccination programme came as the result of readiness to compromise on safety standards.
Countries which started vaccinating people ahead of the EU "resorted to emergency authorisation procedures", she said.
"The commission and member states agreed not to compromise on safety and efficacy requirements."
Re: Covid
I doubt it. It may make the ordinary bloke think twice about this disease though. It doesn’t discriminate regardless of who we are , it will take you . As for old Tom , he certainly didn’t fade awayThat is a real shit actually. Might help shut some fucking deniers up though

Re: Covid
I suppose. There has been talk of all social distancing measures ending in the summer too. Will actually feel strange to walk around shops with no mask on.
Will feel strange to walk around shop thinking about it.
