Podcasts
Been watching a few of the Just Puddings lockdown vids since there are no Off Menu podcasts to listen to at the mo. I did see another vid and it did seem like Acaster is living with someone at the mo, but you never get to see him.

Re: Podcasts
Into the last episode now, dont want it to end. Would also love someone to make a compilation of all the summary jingle edits after each gossip.

Re: Podcasts
Some people don't seem to like the voice. I think it was the best it's been in this series, although the one from last seriers when he goess "Go on mate. Fucking baptise me" had me howling with laughter.

Re: Podcasts
Oh I saw that but didn't take much notice. Might give it a shot. Not listened to a podcast in weeks.

Re: Podcasts
I listened to the first 5 episodes of gossip mongers at work this morning. Very funny in places. Maybe I shouldn't listen to them one after the other as after a while it became a bit samey, oh, wanking off dogs, jizzing in food etc etc.
Going to carry on with it though. I've no idea what the woman looks like but I fancy her from her voice.

Sometimes its more about the way they're written and the reaction, but theres almost always at least one highlight.I listened to the first 5 episodes of gossip mongers at work this morning. I'll only say spaceworm.
Re: Podcasts
I've been listening to Hip Hop Saved My Life - Romesh Ranganathan. It's really good. Has a diverse range of guests, and it's not so much about the music or playing tracks, it's more about how guests have experienced hip hop. James Ancaster has been on it, Frankie Boyle was funny as fuck, a couple of people from People Just Do Nothing, Mark Ronson..... There's about 50 or so episodes I think going back 4 years.

I find it's best not to listen to anything too much in one sitting. I agree with you in that, I love the podcast, but it is relentlessly gutteral, and a lot of people wouldn't like it.I listened to the first 5 episodes of gossip mongers at work this morning. I like Romesh, but know very little about hip hop. In fact I'm amazed Frankie Boyle is on it as I would have thought the same about him.I've been listening to Hip Hop Saved My Life - Romesh Ranganathan. It's really good. Re: Podcasts
Yeah instantly love this podcast, nice one Vin.
Re: Podcasts
The good thing is that you don't really need to know much about hip hop. They mention a lot of rappers but you would have heard of most of them as they are the old skool guys. They play a lot of the tracks as background music. The funniest stuff are the stories. Frankie Boyle's theory on what happened to Biggie and Tupac is funny as fuck.I like Romesh, but know very little about hip hop. I didn't listen in order so some of Romesh's stories seemed repetitive but realised he was telling them months apart.

I pretty much only listen to comedy podcasts, so I might give it a go.
