Are we better without Coutinho?
Are we better without Coutinho?
We appear to be more cohesive and fluid. His free kicks have maybe not been replaced but our forward line looks slicker than ever.
Scored a beaut today though tbf
I used to love Barca

Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
It was never in doubt really, we should’ve sold in the summer
Seems there was some sort of political bollocks played out by selling clubs like Southampton and Red Bull and we just had to fall into line with it
I remember gooner friends of mine were giddy about it but they are the worst delusional cunts going.
Couts was our superstar 3 seasons ago, Mane stepped up and then this season salah add to that BobFirm is sensational
Couts was never our star player, not ever in the mould of Torres or Suarez and we had arguably already got a replacement in salah

Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
Well we've not missed him at all have we?
I thought we might actually, but I can't think of a time when I thought he'd be making the difference for us since he left. Clearly a talented player, but maybe not as good as we thought. Probably done the best thing getting that much money for him.

Heh heh. Good. Glad it's going shit for him.
I was thinking the other day. Its a sign of the times that we're coming upto a transfer window and not sweating on a major player leaving like we used to.

Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
Apart from Moreno.
Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
Vvd keeps doing what he's doing and no doubt Barca will start their usual tricks. Well Messi is getting older and once he's gone they will lose a big chunk of their appeal hopefully.

Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
Wasn’t there something in the Coutinho t&c that if they want to sign any LFC player before 2021 there’d be a 100m premium added to the transfer fee
Clause like that would make vvd 250-300m

Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
Yeah that's right.so they can sign Moreno for 100m plus 1 pound

I didn't know he was doing that badly. He looked good in the WC. Was never going to live up to that price tag though.

Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
Interesting. Grass ain't always greener young Philly-willy.
Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
We've certainly become an all round better team since he went.

Praying that Virgil doesn't get a big injury
Re: Are we better without Coutinho?
That's the real worry isn't it,then on the list is robbo and replacing him with Moreno.
