Easter
Easter
What’s the plans then chaps?
For the first time in 107 years we are able to go to the pub and buy booze in the supermarket on Good Friday .
Heading down to Void territory for the long weekend to open up the mobile home for the summer. I’ve a feeling we will be home by Saturday morning with pneumonia and hypothermia

For the first time in 107 years we are able to go to the pub and buy booze in the supermarket on Good Friday .
After thinking I had loads going on, not a lot.
Was meant to be taking my brothers kids up to see him Saturday afternoon, but I pretended I was busy so I could watch the match, which I'm now regretting actually, as after that I'm going out for a curry, then were off to watch the boxing in the pub.
Was meant to be going for a curry Sunday night as well, but that's been called off.
So after thinking I'd have a pretty busy weekend, I've only got a few hours out, so I'm going to spend most of it walking round shops for something to do
Could easily get my mate Dan out for a Sunday afternoon, but I know he won't bring much money with him.
At this rate, I'm going to be looking forward to work on Tuesday

Re: Easter
Alcohol on sale won’t change a lot for me really because I always stocked up, might go for a pint just for the novelty of it.
No work until Tuesday is great though.
I’m thinking of getting one of those big log cabins for the back garden so I’m going to visit a few showrooms over the weekend. It’ll be a bit of a project to get stuck into, I’d put electricity in, an en suite and insulate and plaster it.
It’s something I’ve thought of doing for ten years now and I finally have a steady enough income to do it, massive commitment though

Re: Easter
Thinking of eventually letting the lad live in it, bit of independence for him
It’s a great idea but I just keep thinking of all that money that will go into it

Re: Easter
It'll probably smell of weed and spunk if you let him live there tbf.
What do you reckon the initial outlay would be?

Re: Easter
About €4K for the shell, delivered and constructed
5m x 4m
Another €1000 on the materials for the work I’d personally do.
Then furnishing it, well that depends on how much what we could afford at that stage. 55” tv is a must for den though surely

Re: Easter
It is
I reckon, currently I could do 3k but have no fear of having the rest ongoing for the rest of the year.
The furnishing can wait, we’ve a tv in our room we never use, couple of bean bags and a dart board and let the boy and his mates have a few beers watching the WC
Then add things like the en suite and insulation as I get the dosh.
Mrs wants to go to Vegas in December and my fear is if we book that I’ll start stockpiling money to gamble on the sly
The Friday Night Tavern Lodge be put on the long finger again if we book Vegas
