Re: Disney Star Wars
You're hiding it well.
Re: Disney Star Wars
Why would I try and hide it?
Re: Disney Star Wars
So now I guess someone could pop back in time to the Phantom Menace era and lop Palpatines head off before he ever does any damage.
Or get Jar Jar to die horribly, thus stopping palpatines emergency powers.
Or knock anakin out before he gets to palpatines office
Etc etc
This could be a way to entirely redo the prequels
And the last jedi

Re: Disney Star Wars
Just about to stick on the final 3 episodes of Rebels to see how it ends ...
Re: Disney Star Wars
Hmm I think I see where this is going.

John Fashanu is a fucking dick mate.
Re: Disney Star Wars
I remember the days when I'd have been excited about news like that.

Re: Disney Star Wars
Sounds a bit daft but if it wasn't a Star Wars film would all of you enjoyed it? I'm not into it as much as you lot are so I think that's why I initially enjoyed it. Some of the shots are brilliant and I know that doesn't carry a film, I still think apart from the story (which is massively important I know) it was a decent film.
Probably chatting bubbles I'm a bit drunk

Re: Disney Star Wars
Yeah I agree some of it looks gorgeous, some of the space battle stuff is brilliant. It's not a badly made film at all. And its fine to like it, I think a lot more casual fans just take it at face value and there's nothing wrong with that. For me being a saddo nerd about star wars in general, I just can't get past it's many many problems with the plot, how it treats the characters and the ham fisted real world political bullshit.

Re: Disney Star Wars
No. Its arse. As a stand alone film it wouldn't have made much sense.
Re: Disney Star Wars
He didn't say stand alone film, he said a non star wars film tbf.
But no I wouldn't have as there is no actual point to the film. It starts and finishes having achieved nothing significant.

Re: Disney Star Wars
Yeah fair enough, as I said it was a daft point. You're right in your response though I'm definitely a casual when it comes to Star Wars. My understanding of the story (SW as a whole) is from what I've read online and gathered from the films.
Is anyone else really shit at taking in information when you go to the cinema? I basically just subconsciously ignored all the fine points. I'm the type of person who will go to the cinema and watch something, come home then research and look into the story, get a hard on and then go back to watch it again.
