In what way? Seems pretty reasonable to me, its only one page of many so I don't think thats all he had for the game.

lol its good though
probably better tactics than the ones hodgson uses
read the comment on the bottom of the page
"Looks like it's in someone's front room rather than a dressing room"
there is a door in the backround that looks like a house door

RE: Picture of Hodgson tactics v Newcastle :uhoh:
So am I the only one who thinks whilst attacking telling our 2 strikers to stick together is bollocks?
He is taking 2 players out in one instruction
Also tells both meireles(I'll never learn to spell it) and Lucas to hold back whilst at the same time telling both full backs to get forward and both wingers to cut inside
So on the attack his formation is basically
And he deploys 2 crap full backs to "get crosses in"
That right there is an oppositions managers wet dream, we are open open open all over the fucking place
He hasn't a clue, if I seen my sons team doing that kind of shit I'd pull him from the team
Fact is his manager pisses all over hodgson
Oh and the comment at the bottom of the link is irrelevant because no one claims the photo was taken "inside the dressing room"

Johnson..............................Konchesky
(both shite btw)

it's meant to be in the hotel.
If it is a fake then there's nothing on there that makes it controversial, if you see what I mean. It looks to me like a set of very basic, insipid even, instructions that maybe used to support a wider tactical discussion...

Did I watch the match last night? I was there mate.

Yeah but don't let that stop a good witch hunt.

Witch hunt or not I don't there is anyone who watches football who thinks long ball is a good tactic
Especially when you have no front man to hold up the play/pick a good pass
Fuck me I'd love to have the players to use them tactics but fact is we don't

doesn`t look like a hotel room though vin
surely you wouldn`t have a door like that in any decent hotel room or are the yanks cutting corners to save money
as much as i`d like to use it as a stick to beat hodgson i just don`t believe it real
thought looking at it again now it might be. fucking horrible colour scheme so it might be genuine. if it real i`d agree with your above comments

Hinges on that door are the heavy duty type used on fire doors, fire doors like in a hotel

There was one of these with Mourinho's board, against Newcastle as well funnily enough, and it wasn't any better than that.

Mourinho constantly adapts to opposition/pitch/weaknesses etc
http://network.yardbarker.com/soccer/ar ... ok/3538622
I remember at Chelsea he'd often make all his subs before the 2nd half, a bold thing for any manager to do but also clearly admitting he had got something wrong and he was going to change it straight away rather than wait for it to be exposed
When was the last time any LFC manager did that

Not many managers do that at all in fairness.
RE: Picture of Hodgson tactics v Newcastle :uhoh:
I think you have some over inflated ideas about management tbh dub. I don't mean that as a dig, but from what I see, you won't be happy unless we're winning every game 8-0. rafa was too complicated and defensive, Roy is too simplistic etc etc
Mourinho took a right drubbing at the hands of Barca the other week, I didn't see him pull any rabbits out of the hat then tbf.
I do understand your frustrations but thinking back to before the club was sold, we all knew once Rafa went that we would have a season of transition no matter who came in and we could pretty much write the season off and maybe have a decent cup run or two but thats it.
I think Roy is learning the club, establishing his way on the players etc. He was never going to have an easy job, but the signs are there that a simple, direct approach may yield benefits. Like against Chelsea, Villa, West Ham etc.
If he gets the boot it won't surprise me in the slightest but I feel the bloke hasn't had a fair crack of the whip. Its barely half a season and people are finding excuses to hound the bloke out of his job. I mean, using a picture of a markerboard which could have been drawn by anyone, anywhere to decry the man as pathetic, its a bit over the top in my view. But each to their own. It just seems like because we're not setting the league alight after narrowly avoiding the biggest crisis in the club's history, the term 'support' has come to mean 'use any and all means to shoot down the obvious target'.

RE: Picture of Hodgson tactics v Newcastle :uhoh:
So 30 mins v Chelsea ( who in hindsight were in free fall) and 2 good performances against the 2 worst footballing sides in the league plus I'll add 45 mins against a spurs side who were just off the back of huge CL game
That's all his appointment has yielded almost half way into the season
Do you forget how Blackpool played us off the park AT HOME?
We have been diabolical all season
And the "transition period" is a bollocks argument, no other club/manager uses it, if anything it should reignite a club just look at Newcastle
Plus these are all highly paid professionals, no prem manager should need 6 months to establish who are the best players at a club and like wise premier league players shouldn't need 6 months to understand a new coaches ideas
He is not good enough and never was and although you might think I simply have it in for him it's not really the case
Each week I see the mistakes he makes and we continue to do the same mistakes and it's not because he is not addressing them, it's because he doesn't know better
Week by week by week he is making us worse and he hasn't a clue how to fix it
Things didn't get better for a month or so a few weeks back, the opposition simply got worse
Let's not afford him the luxury of time or excuses because that's the "Liverpool way" because no other club does it
