Milner cut it back in right near goal and it went to Salahs feet. He fucked it. Scuffed it. Didn't matter in the end. He's been great this second half.

Not the best match, but the only team to stop them scoring there this season with a patched up centre of defence.

Fuck it. Three points.

Sweet.

I'll take a scrappy 1 nil win as happily as a six nil victory at this point, long as the points keep coming

Christ I'm high

Yes I will be happy if we slip back into early season form e.g 1 nils and wing ugly just to get us through Jan.

Nice week of rest of now before Palace next Sat, at home :cno:

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves
It will still be 4 points once Monday’s game is over .
Cant help but feel those cocks have the depth and skill to overhaul us.
I know , we’re top of the pile and my glass is half empty.
Seen it too many times maybe

I was reading about this somewhere else and someone used the term 'collective ptsd' regarding our (the fans) nerves and sort of actual fear after things that have happened in the past and whilst over dramatic it's sort of true.

We closed out a difficult game yesterday which we always used to struggle with. It was our biggest problem really, remember we'd give Utd, Chelsea etc a game then lose to your Hulls and Cardiffs and the like. We seem to have sorted that out nicely, we bagged the three points and now the onus is on spurs and city to do the same while we relax for the weekend. Yet I'm still bricking it for some reason :icon_lol:

So far we've collected 45 points from 45 from teams outside the top 5. Progress :toppa:

It does, but these teams will sit back against us, so it will be more games like yesterday.

Whilst they are all important games , the next big one we have is Utd on Feb 24th. City have to face both Arse and Chelsea before that .

City won't lose all season now.we obviously have to follow.

We play before them again next week, which puts more pressure on them once we've smashed palace.
