I saw an article on 365 a few days ago where he had mentioned that he will stay til the end of the season and see how things are then. He said he has no intention of returning to Spain or anything, just that he'd see how things are.

I think he felt a strong bond with Benitez so can't blame him for feeling unsure but he doesn't seem the type to just up sticks so I reckon it's just papers hyping up some mild quotes but we'll see.

If he goes, then I think Torres will follow shortly after. I really hope we strenghten in Jan but I'm worried that Roy will waste the cash. There's an awful lot riding on whether Commolli makes a good start to his Liverpool career.

I think he might go to Inter.

Shame, as he seemed a decent chap, but he must have lost all hope of winning anything with us.

If he replaces Van Der Sar though :icon_mad:

I heard Carragher had a row with Torres.

Just seen this.
Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina insists he is fully committed to his long-term contract at the club and has not told manager Roy Hodgson he wishes to leave.

Reports today had suggested the Spain international, who signed a new six-year contract towards the end of last season, had expressed his desire to quit Anfield.

However, the 28-year-old has said this was untrue.

"I have not told the manager that I wish to leave in January or at any time," he told liverpoolfc.tv.

"It is important our fans know this. I have a long-term contract at the club and am fully committed to the club."

Why would you want him back?
Because he's a trusted and good goalie and his distribution is excellent. Which is three things none of our keepers have now.

The question is, why would you not?

Why would you want him back?
1. Best distributor of the ball I have ever seen from a goalie past and present.
2. Need a leader back in the dressing room
3. Need a goalie who knows how to control the back four.
4. Manquillo and Moreno will thrive under his leadership.
5. Beause he is still 10X better than Migs and Jones on a bad day.
6. He actually gives a shit abut Liverpool,

he was angling for a move to Barca for a while which didn't come off because Valdes decided to stay another season. Rodgers bought Mingolet thinking Reina was going

If anything we should all point the finger and blame Reina for getting stuck with Mingolet :icon_mad:

He might be better than what we have, but he's still not good enough.
