Just wondering what is your favorite pub to hit before and after the match ??
The park... Quite good for a few songs and what not, always rammed tho... And full of counts wanting to get Badgemans photo!!
The Albert... Was only in it once after the derby in feb... Very good had a good old laugh in it.. A load of young fellas drinking bags of their own cans were the choir boys that day
The Stanley... Was in it years ago, Rottweilers even walked around on pairs on that place... Thrown a few anti Irish phrases but rode it out and ended up having the Craic
The supporters bar... Went on their before the 1-0 kuyt derby in feb, thought it was going to be better tbh, but 1poind for a bottle of Stella, well you just can't argue with that !!!
The Solly... Never been in there..... Any one go there ?!?!
The Cabbage..?!?!
Any good boozers around the Anfield Rd Centennary stand side ???
Heading over next week and just looking for a recommended bar ??

RE: Pubs around Anfield
I'm not going to lie. I've only been to Anfield a few times, and I tended to get pissed up in the car on the way up.
It's a five hour drive, so we'd shoot up there. Joints and cans in the car, watch the game, then get back to the car and get home again.
Don't really know any other Liverpool fans personally these days, so it's hard to get anyone to go to away games anymore. I don't bother asking. I've not been to Anfield in about four years.

I quite like the sandon because it's pretty spacious. I know most people dislike it for whatever reason but there you go. Decent pint of Guinness too which is a surprise on a match day.
Haven't been since the end of the season before last though.
