It was a penalty, a soft peno albeit but it was clumsy from Lovren. Similar to what Rich quoted, if you look at our list of defensive errors through the last few seasons then Lovren is the common thread. Always has that clownshoes element to his game.

We very rarely win 1-0. Would have made more sense to start with the Fab 4 :josh: then bring them off after we score a few goals. Solanke is not ready to lead the line yet. Resting the big players for what....West Brom!? :kloppo:

Solanke would be the only concern I have with the team we put out.

Resting players for the mad christmas period obviously and just maybe preventing more lads on our already worrisome injury list.

And yeah, it wasn't a penalty in a million years but I agree it was probably a bit of a naive move from Lovren.

I'm still fuming about it.

And Mane's failure to cross. I'm a big fan of him, but he's been too selfish of late.
