Clyne is injured and I think it is way worse than presumed when you think that lallana is included and he is out till late November/ early December so clyne is out probably till January. I think up to 3 players can be added changed to the list in February

Not fussed with Clyne being injured tbh we've got TAA and the more game time he gets the better he gets. We've got Gomez to cover if TAA is out, problem is is CB cover and relying on Klavan.

I like clyne but his end product is shit tbh.

Like josh says weve got the 2 young lads who are more than capable at right back.

We were only able to submit a squad of 22 as well because we only had one homegrown player out of four required. Thing is that if clyne is to be added after January then one of the other 22 will be dropped . if we sign someone in the January window they can have played in champs lge as long as that team is still not in the competition so if rumours are to believed we might be able to pay an extra premium to red bull Leipzig if they are not doing well in the league and out of the champions league

The champ lge rules are

Category A players need to be registered

4 club trained players. Players trained at the club for 3 years that is 21 or under
4 league trained players . players trained at club in the league for 3 years that is 21 or under

Category B players don't need to be registered..

Any player that has trained at the club for 2 years that is 21 or under

_---------

Solanko only signed this season so falls into category A

I was thinking of doing that. I was going to do the league, but I honestly think we have more chance in this.

Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: "Nathaniel is working hard on his rehab and we have kept a close eye on his progress, but the reality is we are looking at some time still before he is back and available for selection. I am told it will be longer than just a couple of weeks, so we will continue to monitor and assess.

"It is pretty certain he'll not be available for the majority of the Champions League group matches. If we are fortunate enough to still be in UEFA competition in the New Year he could be added to the squad then.

"The medical guys are pleased with how he is responding and Nathaniel has shown a really strong attitude, given he is not someone who is used to being out injured.

"What is positive for us is how Joe [Gomez] and Trent [Alexander-Arnold] have stepped up and grasped their opportunities."

Where are you getting this info void?
Are you saying an English club can't have English players in their squad?
OK let me try explain it again

For the category A list which is 25 players which need to be registered (which is usually players over 21 otherwise a new signing who is 21 or under e.g. salanko)

1-is you need to have 4 players that trained at the club for 3 years before the age of 21 . as it stands
Jon Flanagan is our only home grown player which is why there is 3 spaces left and the A list is only 22 players
2- You need 4 players train at a club (for 3 years before the age of 21) in the country of the league ( you could have 8 players come through your own ranks which would be 4 + 4)
Henderson, , OX, Robertson, milner, sturridge, lallana , salanko. you only need 4

Category B players don't need to be registered. Theses are players that are 21 or under but have been at the club for 2 years or more
Joe Gomez and TAA fits into this catagory as even though they are now first teamers they don't need to be registered

Salanko despite only being 20 but hasn't been at the club 2 years so has to be registered as a category A player

_-------------------

TLDR

Summary
We don't have enough first team players trained at the club who are over 21 to fill the quota of 4 so we have to leave 3 blank spaces
If we buy someone in January then those 3 spaces will still have to be left blank and a someone will have to be dropped

Clyde would fall into cat A.2 then
And there'd be no need to include Kent or Ojo

Exactly dub

If he comes back into the squad for the knickout rounds then someone else will have to be dropped.

You are allow 3 changes and 1 can be someone who as played in the group stages as long as that team has been knocked out
