When the state of Israel was created in '47 the actual population of Jews in the area was something like 5%. There had never been tensions between Jews and Muslims.
The only reason Israel was created in 1947 was on the back of what happened the Jews by the nazis but the zionists had been pushing for the creation of Israel since the late 1800s.
They Jews used WWI to push through their Israel agenda in 1917.
Also Israel is 3x bigger that what was given to them and they are constantly building new settlements on Palestine territory.
