RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
We just had a good chance there I think. It was Paul Merson talking again, so I really couldn't understand most of it, but I'm sure he mentioned the bar.

Typical Liverpool tbh, beat the top sides and draw/loose against the bottom sides.

Fuck it. I was sure we were going to win tonight.
Away to Stoke next. That's not easy.

Nothing has changed

RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
Sigh. We didn't lose a tricky away game. Nothing has changed, our little unbeaten run is still intact.

he is getting paid millions for this
james corden is a better motivator
RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
Guys, guys, guys Gerrard should have won that match for us at the end with the one on one.
As Rich says it keeps us unbeaten and keeps the momentum going.

RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
Did you see the game. We were fucking shit. Wigan have been shit this season, we made them look like fucking Barcelona, if a one of their strikers had been a bit more alert they could have done us 3 or 4....Guys, guys, guys Gerrard should have won that match for us at the end with the one on one.

Unbeaten run? A statistic. The players will know that they played shit.
Did I watch the match last night? I was there mate.
RE: Liverpool vs Wigan

RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
I'm gona stick my neck out and hazard guess at how the game played out. I haven't seen the game but i know we were 1 up and it ended a draw. In the middle i would guess that we sat back, invited them onto us, and then hoofed the ball up the park to a lonesome striker surrounded by 2 or 3 defenders in an attempt to play counter attacking football.

RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
Wigan are shit
I'd expect nothing less 2-0 but then I'm not convinced we have actually turned the corner just yet so considering it's away and Roy is not known for being epic on his travels I think it could be a draw
RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
We may have been poor but psychologically it was important we didn't lose the game.
We are in a very fragile state of mind at this moment and I for one am not too disheartened by tonights result.
Not a great result, but by no means an awful result. Throw in Meireles going off, Kelly (who's a CB) playing right-back and not offering much going forward, and a 70% Kuyt finding his full fitness, an absent Joe Cole, no decent back-up striking options.......................it wasn't all bad!

has anybody seens roys interview? didn`t see MOTD so was wondering what he said. hopefully nothing too bad as certain people( ) will be looking for ammo justify their personal agendas
RE: Liverpool vs Wigan
Perspective. Every point counts in this tight season.
Yes we should be winning matches like that but we have won the previous 4 so you can't expect us to do a Chelsea every game.
And at least he kept the same team. But then people will find fault with that or if he changed it around, he pretty much can't win.
Just do the biz against Stoke plz
