Re: Transfer window
He got dropped for two weeks in the first half season before we signed him.
I think he can play a part at certain clubs, but why do it when he costs so much money and then gets injured?
You would be mad to sign him.

Re: Transfer window
Looks like Shelvey is off to Newcastle for 12 bloody million. I reckon that's a good deal for Swansea.
Apparently he offered to fight some of their fans in the car park after losing last weekend.

Re: Transfer window
It's on from the looks of it
QPR have accepted Liverpool’s offer of a loan deal until the end of the season and Caulker has returned to Loftus Road to officially cancel his terms with Southampton. Providing he is registered by noon on Tuesday, the 24-year-old will be eligible to play for Liverpool against Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday. The former Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City defender could train with Jürgen Klopp’s squad at Melwood later on Tuesday.

Awful player
You've got to think with all these loan deals been cancelled and little or no mention of big names that Klopp is just seeing the season out know and we will rebuild in the summer
There is some absolute shite in our squad

Re: Transfer window
According to reports on Wednesday, Matip will become a Reds player once his contract with the Bundesliga side expires at the end of the season.
It is reproted that the highly-rated centre-back has already agreed a deal in principle.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of the 24-year-old and sees him as someone to add some steel and all-round quality to his side’s much-maligned defence.
Steven Caulker has been signed on loan until the end of the season, following an injury crisis at centre-back, but that looks as though it may well be a stop-gap transfer in the months leading up to Matip’s arrival.
Matip has outshone both Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren when it comes to aerial duels and tackles won so far this season, as well as interceptions, blocks and errors per game.
A strong tackler who also possesses quality on the ball and aerial strength, the Cameroon international looks the perfect fit for Liverpool.
His considerable frame (6’4) would give Klopp’s men some much-needed presence at both attacking and defending set-pieces; something that has been an issue at Anfield ever since Sami Hyypia’s departure.
Matip also has pace in abundance, which is an attribute none of the current Reds centre-backs are exactly known for.
Using him in his preferred right-sided centre-back role alongside Sakho is likely to be in Klopp’s thinking, although Martin Skrtel and Lovren are not to be written off.
The signing of Matip represents an exciting piece of business by Liverpool, and bodes well ahead of what could be a pivotal summer of spending.

Re: Transfer window
Get in!
Liverpool FC are set to sign Joel Matip this summer after securing a pre-contract agreement with the Schalke defender.
The Cameroon international will move to Anfield at the end of the season having rejected the German club's offer of a new deal in favour of a switch to Merseyside.
Matip, 24, was identified as a top target by the Reds ahead of the January window, and will move to England once his contract expires in June. He can play as a central defender as well as in midfield, and is seen by Jurgen Klopp as an ideal addition to his squad ahead of the German's first full campaign in charge.
