Indeed, after that game against Ecuador, Coutinho’s Brazilian teammate Neymar spoke to the media about the “ great sadness ” his friend is facing having seen his dream move fail to materialise.

Barca are the problem and they never put in a genuine bid to really test fsg. Their biggest bid was only 30m upfront with 15m for 4 years and then the rest in retarded addons like if he won world player of the year ect.
I think barca wanted to get 3 big players in after losing neymar and though they could fuck us around.
They tried to say at the general meeting that we offered coutinho to them late friday before their window closed for €200m but they turned us down and then the cunt thanked coutinho for his efforts like wtf
The pricks did nothing but tried to sabotage our champs lge by twice making bids on the eve of our games against hoffenheim. Probably felt if we weren't in the champions league then we would be more likely to sell

The latest story is that cou-cou is pissed off at Barca for not trying harder to complete the deal after making him loads of promises, and now he doesn't want to sign for them if they come in for him again :icon_lol:

Probably bollocks like but funny if true.

That's utter bullshit if true. You play for the club then play for the club, don't be a prick.

Barca at it again :picardfacepalm:
Since last summer, Barcelona have not only spoken openly about their desire to sign Coutinho, it has been widely reported in Spain they had an agreement in place with him despite never being granted permission to negotiate terms with the player – a clear contravention of transfer rules.

Such ‘tapping up’ has been described as scandalous when applied in the Premier League – and would inevitably prompt an investigation – but in the global transfer market Barcelona would appear capable of following a different set of rules.

Rumours are rampant now. I would just prefer it if we get a deal done to save all this gossip, announce he will leave in the summer...but only if the price is right...

I have the feeling that his 'camp' will really try and push for a move this month though  It looks like he has a phantom injury again...remember his bad back? :josh:
