Well I was expecting to loose a total of 100 but I only spent 50 of it through the whole festival ... that make sense ?!

Its a hard one to call.. I allocated 100 (25 a day) but won big on the first day first race so I played with Paddy Powers money for the week and then spent another 25 on the last day ... so I am down 50 but also up 50... Good festival and some good races

You do any bets Bridge ?!
That's gamblers mentality.

I hear all the time from my mates who go casino. Win some money and then lose it and call it "casino's money" - I think it's just a psychological way of dealing with the loss
Did I watch the match last night? I was there mate.

Call it what you will... I had saved that money up for Cheltenham. If I lost the whole 100 I wouldnt of minding because I was Gambling it but the fact I spent 25 on day 1, got a winner I was gambling with technically my money but it is the bookies money. Granted the House always win but I was able to do the 4 days with their money as opposed to mine. Yes I know the Winnings were mine but I end up loosing 50 instead of 100... So in my eyes Im up 50

Make of that what you will :toppa:

No your down 50
If you were up 50 you'd have 150 at the end of the week

What I call your week is a "cheap week"

Not having a pop nor am I anti-gambling. If you putting up money you can afford to lose than fair enough. It's the whole "not my money argument" - because it is.

it you put aside the money i suppose its no different than goin out for a night and only spending 50 instead of full 100 so in essence you're 50 quid better off than you expected to be

the whole cheltenham(sp??) thing is weird. Can't ever see the bookies losing as people tend to live in the bookies over the festival and reinvest any potential winnings
Brendan, the end is nigh :icon_thumbsup:

Thats the way I see it Void too.

Regards the whole Cheltenham living in the bookies thing I suppose the best thing is pick one or two races a day and bet your day allocation in them races otherwise you loose your bollox and are constantly gambling as opposed to backing horses !!!

Thats brilliant. Fair play to him..

Had a feeling that they were going to go through also had two feelings Benzema would score first then score second. So backed out of backing Bayern.

Yea a fiver. It was proper jammy. That Belgium side went down to 10 men in the first 10 mins ffs against Standard Liege but they done well and got a draw. Had to cash it out with about 3 mins left, would only have got about 4 more quid so just pulled the trigger on it.

I yoinked it off Free Super Tips though. They can be a bit hit and miss but i only do a small acca at the weekends usually.

It's a very convenient site, if you click the links next to the accas say for Bet365( the site i use) it adds all the fixtures onto a betting slip, ping in your stake and that's it. Sometimes i pick out the selections myself.
