Out of 'respect'
'
Philippe Coutinho looks set to leave Barcelona this summer – but will not move to Manchester United out of respect for his former club Liverpool, Sky Sports News understands.
United were monitoring Coutinho's availability, with his valuation now understood to be significantly lower than the £142m paid to Liverpool by Barcelona last January, but Sky Sports News understands initial discussions have begun between Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazilian's representatives over a summer transfer.
Coutinho, presently with the Brazilian squad ahead of the Copa America, has admitted his form has been well below par - and sees his future away from the Catalan giants.
Out of respect my arse, cunt has burnt his bridges. Fucking love it if he joined them so we could smash him.

Yeah. Pretending to be injured when Barcelona came calling twice is rather a lack of respect.

I get forcing a move to join your dream club but faking a back injury he can go fuck himself. Makes me laugh at the end of day, Klopp tried to convince him of what the team was capable of and he still fucked off. Papa Klopp

Plus he had to pay like 11 million quid from his own pocket to get the move
11 million

Pissed of to play for Brazil when he had that back injury as well.

He payed for Alisson so I have to thank him for that.

I think we miss out on a few quid of the add ons if he leave so soon.
Another reason to hate him.

I don’t think he’ll every get back to level he was at, in fact I think United would be his level now.
He was never that good to begin with once Manè joined

I don't know., I think he was playing some of his best stuff the season he left us. Scored some great goals. And that goal he scored against United in the EL was brilliant.
Some people used to say he slowed our game down. I didn't see it myself though.

I think he will tbf, I still think he's a good player. What confuses me is that everything was set up for him at Barca, he was moving from a harder league to an easier one and had the best player in the world to feed off of. I think the transfer fee got to him or the fact that he wasn't the 'star' in the team anymore.

He's not Iniesta and too slow to play as wide man. He was a central figure for us but doesn't fit into their team/system.

Manchester City are ready to trigger Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri's £62.5m release clause.
Rodri, 22, informed Atletico on Tuesday of his desire to leave the club this summer after City and Bayern Munich indicated they would be willing to meet his buyout clause.
City's director of football Txiki Begiristain made Rodri their primary midfield target for this window as they seek competition, and an eventual replacement, for 34-year-old Fernandinho.

Be brilliant if Nicholas Lyndhurst walks out wearing their shirt.

Do any of you guys seriously think we were even considering mbappe ? Even excluding the transfer fee , his wage demands would be through the roof.
The amount of our fans who think this could happen is unreal

Transfer news are like horoscopes for men, mostly bullshit and just a bit of fun....well we are able to say that this season as none of our key players are leaving
His wages alone would break the club in more ways than one, it would be a Ozil or Sanchez moment were one person is getting way more than the others....and they dont even play that well
The only scenario it would happen in is if we lost Mane and Salah and had a fuck ton of money and desperately needed a world class player.

Yeah. The source was teamtalk for fucks sake.
We do need cover in that area though. I thought Brewster was being brought forward?
Really don't know what we're going to do in this window

I get the impression were not going make any big signings.
Itll probably be a backup keeper, left back cover and that'll be about it.
Could end up been a massive mistake tbh.
