I've been a PC gamer since I was 12 like but with these new consoles coming out and how powerful they are I'm starting to nudge away from PC gaming. PC gaming will always have the benefits of mods and basically being an open platform. The great thing about PC too is that I have Xbox Game Pass, a new title that is exclusive to Xbox? can play it on my PC, it's only £10.99 a month for a shit load of games. With Microsoft buying out Bethesda and their games being exclusive to Xbox that's going to be very important in the future.

Luckily I have both

I have to say, that Hotstock app really came through, cheers again J.

Funny thing was, I managed to order mine through Game but it wasn’t meant to be here til the 21st. Day after that at work it notified me John Lewis had some so I told a mate who’s also been waiting for one. He went to the JL site and managed to get one. His turned up two days ago (before mine) and he’s been proper loving it and rubbing it in that he got his first even though I was the one that sorted him out the info :icon_lol:

Anyways you’ve helped two of us get hooked up so top man :toppa:

Loving it so far. Been playing that Ratchet & Clank game. Looks gorgeous. Just now put on the Snyder Cut in 4K, that looks absolutely amazing. I think the controller is a massive step up from the last one. Generally very happy. I even like the way the unit looks and sits by my setup. And no noisy cooling fan even on a scorching day like this.

Yeah the way it looks was a big talking point when it was announced but I personally love the look of it.

Was you surprised how big it was? ( :ooohello: ) I didn't think it would be that big ( :ooohello: )

A couple of blokes at work had told me about the size so I wasn’t really that shocked. I think it’s aesthetically pleasing enough that it doesn’t bother me. It makes me think of a fancy gaming pc or something.

It’s going to cost me a fortune more though as there are so many games and 4K movies I want now, that Spider-Man Miles Morales looks great, I fancy AC Valhalla and also got a month til Tsushima Directors cut :poundit:

Feeling like playing through RDR2 again as well, updated version or not.

One thing I think is a brilliant detail is the way the R2 button intelligently changes its resistance.

So on Ratchet & Clank you pull up half way and your gun does one thing, pull it all the way it does another.

Yet if you’re playing a movie there is no resistance on it at all, just press it or don’t.

I think those R2 and L2 buttons are connected to the haptic vibrations which are also a massive improvement.

I've never had a good TV before so I'm proper excited. I've had good PC monitors but nothing like OLED, HDR and the like.

I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread but when I upgraded to mine, I’d had a tv that I bought second hand for about 10 years. Had been playing Spider-Man when it arrived and when I set it up and switched the game back on the difference literally made my jaw drop :icon_lol: I may have whooped and hollered a bit too :picardfacepalm: :icon_lol:

£1350, got the 4 year insurance to cover burn-in. Got 12 months to pay off £750 with no interest :icon_thumbsup:

Seems like a lot but that will last me fucking donkeys.
