This game is so good. Just did the bit where you take Marston's son Jack fishing, and...
the Pinkerton detectives turn up and one of them is Edgar Ross, the main FBI dude who a grown up jack goes to visit in the epilogue of the first game. He meets Ross fishing by a river in that game as an adult and while he himself is fishing as a child the first time they meet. Genius :adore:

I hope that makes sense :icon_lol:

I watched a recap of the first game a few days back so his name was fresh in my mind. Can't wait to see of the mysterious stranger turns up. That was absolute genius in the first one.

I'm slowly getting into it. It's going to take me ages to complete it and that's a good thing. I find it pretty confusing at times though, menus, icons etc and find myself having to google things frequently, it makes me yearn for an instruction manual tbh, if one game needs a manual it's this.

Took me a little time to get used to, long time now since I played a rockstar game and I had just finished Spiderman which is obviously much quicker. When you get there though it all becomes clear, if you see what I mean

Yea and BFV really is a problem from the sounds of it lol
While it’s absolutely a massive and addictive shooter, there’s little question in my mind that Battlefield V launched well before it was ready. Between the brevity and lack of gameplay variety in the single-player campaign, the problems that arise when playing anything other than Conquest on certain maps, and perhaps most troubling of all, the frequent and sometimes game-breaking bugs are all issues that seem like they could be solved with a couple more months of development time.

I've been off this week and proper put some time to get back into Red Dead 2. I was sort of pacing it out because I don't want it to end but just when I thought it was ending a whole new section kicked in and it's been absolutely brilliant, what a game this really is. I don't want to leave it, I want to always be playing it :picardfacepalm: :icon_lol:

I've been smashing Assassins Creed Oddesy this week. Have to say I preferred Origins though. The map in this game is fucking huge, and there are too many, go and get this and then come back here missions. When you can do a stretch of the main story , it is good though. And stunning.

Really like the series, but the thought replaying one is quite daunting.

Despite receiving six nominations, British made western-style adventure Red Dead Redemption 2 walked away empty-handed at the glitzy ceremony in central London.
Oh no, not a glitzy ceremony in central London :icon_confused:

It's a brilliant brilliant game, I'm so near the end now and it's just so good.

I'm sure that latest God of War that won all the awards is great and I'll probably play it next, but Read Dead :adorepoundittoppa:

Just finished it. I couldn't have asked for more, what a game. What a story. These two games together are now by far the best things I've ever played, perfection.
