Got two weeks off work, so I thought I'd complete this. Just got really angry about the way it ended, but it turns out that was just chapter one.

Still a poor end to that chapter, and this game is going to be a let down as the last game of a wonderful series, but I'm pleased I've still got a bit to go.

I'd probably just avoid the ending tbh, pissed me off and still does.

I have yet to go back and finish it, I gave up pretty much after the first act, when the credits rolled for ages. I will go back and do it at some point.

Nah, I've got to finish it. Some of it has been enjoyable, but the story telling aspect is all over the shop, even for a MGS game.

I'm not sure if I give a fuck about motherbase or not.

Making you redo missions :Dave'sarseholeafteraFridaynight:

Well that's put a dampner on things. I did try and do the first mission on chapter 2 last night and it said "Do you really want to start this mission without scouting?" or something like that. Never had that before so I just hit yes, and I didn't have any fucking weapons.

It's probably an Extreme or Total Stealth mission, I actually enjoyed them. Is it the one where you have to blow up the 3 radars?

But yeah as Mark said, chapter 2 is mostly just earlier missions but harder.

Yeah, it is that one I think. How do you blow them up without weapons?

It's alright I done. Creep around. Tackle a guard, nick his gun, wait for sandstorm, unleash bloodbath.

Got my first S grade.

I'll do it, but it's shameless. I take it I'll be doing the same missions on extreme and they'll be some new cur scenes to move the story along?

It costs so so much money to make but I don't know what Kojami spent it all on...he might have just pissed it up all the wall to annoy Konami. The work conditions he was working in their sounded very oppressive, cameras set up watching people in the offices etc. If he and his team had been allowed to operate freely we would have seen a better game I think.

Didn't need to be open world, not every game needs to copy GTA.

I can understand them trying to do new things. Don't have a problem with that even if it doesn't work. Stupid shit like having to wait for the helicopter to land for every fucking mission, only being able to select what mission you want to do in the helicopter etc... was just so unnecessary.

And really trying to get you to use the online stuff is something that pisses me off too.

Yeah I hate when games try and force you online.
