Just got an email telling me it's shipped :icon_surprised:

Can't wait for this. Loved the last one. I've still got two other games to finish first, but fuck them, I'm playing this.

Yeah it's good. It's a little more of a disjointed opening but that's due to the story as opposed to anything bad. You soon get back in the swing of things. A few new gadgets and moves to play with. There's this bit where you have to arrange tactics to repel invaders which I didn't like much but I'll get used to it.

Good stuff so far. The graphics on the cutscenes are gorgeous.

That do?

The bit where you have to defend your dens is spoiling the game for me to be honest. I've done just fine until they roll in with the tank thing, and then if breaks down the barriers and burns down the base, and then I just claim it straight back again. I claimed everything on the map hoping it would put a stop to this, but now I've always got two yellow icons on the map. Pissing my off.

Yeah that part is bugging me. And if the den captain runs off just reload and try again instead of waiting. Bit of a shit part the series that tbh.

I also do just fine til the tank turns up then that kind of renders it all pointless.

Having said that I'm still enjoying the game.

Also I just noticed I'm one trophy away from having 1000 :icon_uhoh:

Oi arsepaint

How are you getting on with this?

Not really put a massive amount of time into it really. Not as good as the last one, which was brilliant, but I still like it. Sounds strange, but I've not had the energy, or I suppose, attention span to sit down and enjoy a game for a good couple of months.

I'm loving gaming at the mo. I'm also enjoying this exct for the den defense aspect. But if you're careful you don't trigger that too often.

I think I'm not enjoying it as much because I am kind of trying to get though it so I can get stuck into Skyrim (ooer I said rim etc)

But thats not fair on this as its still very very good.

Have you done any Desmond missions on animus island yet? Quite interesting. Reminds me of Portal.

Nope. I hadn't actually remembered them until I read something on 365 yesterday.

I'm saving Skyrim for the Xmas hols, so I can go a bit mad like I did with Fallout 3 that time.

How are you getting on with this?

I'm liking it but its taking me a while. That den defense thing pisses me off.

Plus I started Jedi Knight 2 again which has distracted me from it.

I just put it on for a bit and went to do a mission but was just all 'meh' and switched it off again.

Not touched it in a couple of weeks. Got Uncharted 2 as well, but I've not been in the mood.

Been on this all morning, I'm enjoying it again. Apart from the den defense thing. But if you're careful you can avoid that.

It really is a well crafted game, each one has gotten a bit better than the last. The bits in this when you recover the Masyaf keys and go back to being Altair for a bit are :poundit:

Might go back and play the first again at some point.

I sat down last weekend and had it on four a few hours, and felt the same. Great game, but not as good as the last one though.

Finally managed to finish this AND Uncharted 3 yesterday. I woke up so tired, I pretty much spent the whole day on the PS3. I wasn't that impressed with either of them before yesterday. I think sitting down and having a good old session on a game is the best way for me to enjoy them, otherwise I don't really get into them.

While this game was not as good as Brotherhood, which was great, I still enjoyed it. The ending was good for Ezio, but the modern day ending was a bit shit. I'm still going to spend a bit of time doing some side missions now I think.

I thought the second Uncharted was better tbf. I didn't really get into this one until you get in to the boat yard with the pirates.

I think I'm just going to finish the Desmond bits with this. I can't really carry on once I've completed the main story.
Skyrim for me next I hope. I've only got three games on my rental list, so I'm hoping I don't get MW3.

Skyrim could see me through my sober January.
