Would you drop Bobby right now?
We all like him. He can be great, but Jota is coming in now with the same work ethic, but goals as well, which is what wins games, which he's done twice.
I would. I don't mean to replace him, but we have to show the players that no one is undropable. He has missecd some absolute sitters so far this season. I can't say that I've noticed a dro0p in form as such, but he's getting a lot of flak from the media at the moment. Not all of it is fair, but even Carragher has had a pop at him a few times.
There's going to be a lot of rotation any as we know, so I would take this oppertunity to give him a rest.

Yeah I’d drop Bobby for a couple of games, then bring him back and rest Mo for a couple.

Bobby does a lot off the ball but teams are realising that and it's not working at the moment. His finishing is really bad for a striker which doesn't help.
This isn't a knee jerk reaction either, play the in-form player.

Firmino looks desperate to score now though. He would have past to Mane just then normally, but had a shot himself. Maybe this isn't a bad thing for him to try, but it's not what he normally does.
