Only in Croatia for a few more days lads but I have to say the two popular Croatian lager beers are good and strong 5% - cheap at about £2.50 a pint. Can get 2 litres from the shop for £1.50 I like the continental way of ordering booze, they bring it to you on a tab system, decent.
Weather has been mixed but lovely scenery, decent booze, would recommend for a loliday.

UK to Croatia by train in 24 hours...How much is a train to Croatia?
Take a mid-morning Eurostar to Paris, a 200 mph double-deck TGV Duplex to Munich, and an excellent Croatian sleeper train overnight from Munich to Zagreb, arriving next morning. Or take Eurostar & TGV Duplex to Munich, stay the night in a hotel and take a wonderful scenic ride next day through the mountains across Austria, into Slovenia and along the pretty River Sava to Zagreb. The choice is yours. It's safe, civilised, comfortable & affordable and unlike a flight, a truly memorable travel experience.

Flight was 2 and half hours tbf. The scenic part of a train journey appeals but the Eurostar is expensive.
Airports are awful tbf, least favourite part of travelling.

Fuck all that travelling tbf
Scenic or not it's drain the life out of you, especially on the way back
I've done the train from Prague to Budapest before can't remember how long that was but I done it because I was a teenager and it probably saved me a couple of quid
Nowadays as an adult I'd rather pay the extra few pound

Re: he Booze Thread
What's everyone's plan for the bank holiday weekend?
Got to go shopping tonight as I'm going camping with Sim..... on my own, so I'll be getting a selection of booze to take with me, and I suppose I'll smash half of them in front of the football tonight.
Really looking forward to it

What football is on tonight?
I have a wedding tomorrow which means I'll miss the CL final
Then Sunday we are beering it up in the afternoon then ten of us are going to eat at a Loch Fyne.
Should all be good but at this point I really can't be arsed, I've been off all week and it's been nice doing stuff around the house and catching up with a few people but really now I'd like to sit on my arse for the whole weekend.

Re: he Booze Thread
I know what you mean. About five years ago I had a week off and all I done all week was go round the gym and play computer games. I felt brilliant.
What's Loch Fyne?

Re: he Booze Thread
Just a restaurant, I've never been to it before. I have no idea if it's a chain or not. Meant to be nice though.
