Eating clean
Do it, start now.
Lightly fried salmon in olive oil and light garlic, steamed broccoli and cauliflower and new potatoes.
Season with sea salt, freshly ground pepper and a pinch of dried herbs.
Lovely and not too shit for your health.

And then the weekend comes.
I grill the salmon though now you mention it, cos I like it crispy.

Re: Eating clean
I do like a roast dinner on a Sunday but haven’t done one for ages now. All I’ve had today is a protein shake for breakfast, some mackerel for lunch and some steamed veg just now. And some beer.
I hope I can keep this going. It’s so quick and easy just to steam everything as well. Should have started this years ago.

I can't believe you haven't done it sooner. Like you say, 15 minutes and you're done and it's good for you.

Re: Eating clean
Brown sauce on that? Have you lost your mind?
Re: Eating clean
Try it before criticising. Spicing Salmon up with other things is no big deal so why not? I take brown sauce on pretty much everything savoury tbh (except scrambled eggs ) Not HP but the Aldi stuff

I like the salmon as is but with some freshly ground salt and pepper, maybe a touch of garlic or the juice from half a lime. Simple and delicate and lovely for me Clive.
Saturday mornings at work you can smell bacon and sausages and stuff like that cooking when you go to peoples doors. I haven’t had anything like that in months and although it smelled nice it didn’t make me miss it.

Re: Eating clean
Still on this. Recently I’ve been prepping up the chicken breast or turkey or whatever with a home made herb and spice rub. I just chop the chicken then use a tablespoon each of whatever herbs and spices I fancy and mix it all up with some olive oil. Let it sit in the fridge for an hour or two or overnight. Steam some veg or rice to go with it, lovely.
Chipotle powder with sriracha and a shit load of garlic
Usually I bung in some spinach whilst cooking and maybe chop up some cherry tomatoes for some colour and texture. Delightful

Re: Eating clean
I've got an instant pot which are great for quick cooking.
Half a cup of rice, loads of frozen vegies and a big dollop of miso paste/chicken stock and it fills you up all day. Siracha over the top too.
