I’m going through a prolonged stage of finding all movies to be shit. Even with my new happy sober outlook on life
Think I need a look at Goodfellas or Gladiator to buck me up
Same

I think it's because I'm watching them at home. Need a good movie in the cinema.

Could be production problems during covid but also movies made by Netflix or Amazon are atrocious both from a writing point of view and production.

They are no better than hallmark movies

Arghhh I feel like I can't really reply to that dub. I know you hate redlettermedia but I agree with them that its fucking awful going to a packed cinema. It's been nice getting releases you can watch at home.

Yeah fair enough. It's not for me like.

To this day I still regret getting invited by two of my brothers to see Interstellar in an imax cinema though. I had a hangover.

Interstella, while being a nonsense film, must have looked pretty fucking good at the cinema.

Love going myself. Don't go enough.

Amen. Still regret it to this day, it sounds good on my system but fuck me imagine those organs on a dolpy atmos system :poundit:

Last time I went to a cinema was to watch 1917. Around the time of the release we just got a new cinema in the centre of Warrington (cineworld). To counter it Odeon released their "full cinema experience" can't remember what it was called. Anyway this full cinema experience was fucking amazing, chairs are a foot apart, comfy as fuck and they had the license to dolby atmos. Before the trailers came on before the film they showed a commercial/demo for dolby atmos and me and my brother just burst out laughing. It was fucking incredible.

Not sure what my point is. Oh yeah, cinemas won't die. They will unfortunately. Everything is going digital weather we like it or not. We will be paying a subscription to watch our films soon.

They really are. Watched one that won a Golden Globe. Was a load of shit.
