Re: Covid
Anyone moaning about tier four before Christmas was an idiot though.
He was being told to go into lockdown over Christmas. Even the Labour leader was telling him to a couple of days before he announced it. Said kids should go into school, then about turned 24 hours later. I just can't believe he's in charge of the country.
People just aren't taking it as seriously though is probably a bigger problem. The hypocrisy makes me laugh. A mate posted on Facebook on Monday that we wouldn't be in this state if dickheads had listened during the first lockdown.
During the first lockdown he invited me around his house for a barbecue.

Re: Covid
I don't know if you remember me mentioning a big tent the other side of the road from where I work that they were going to use to store the dead bodies in over the year.
Pretty sure they didn't need to use it before. They've confirmed they are now.

Re: Covid
Woke up to a notification from the NHS app that I need to self isolate for 7 days. I’m not going to lie, I don’t mind the week off work. It’s been relentless and morale was getting low.

Re: Covid
I don’t have it as far as I know, I feel fine.
The app says the encounter happened this past Wednesday, when i went to work and stopped at Tesco on the way home. So I guess I’m a couch potato for the next week.

Re: Covid
Just found out that the bloke that works next to me in the mornings and his wife have tested positive. I last saw him Wednesday which was when my ‘encounter’ happened according to the app. Which means I could actually have it.

Re: Covid
My app says that my exposure was on Wednesday last week. Still feeling pretty fine tbh. Sure if I had it some sort of symptoms would be showing by now?

Re: Covid
Fuck knows. I went to bed feeling fine, and woke up needing to be sick a few hours later. All the things you read tell you that people react in so many different ways. Some people had it without knowing.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m isolating and I’ll follow the guidelines and all that just in case. Just feels weird being in this situation when nothing feels out of the ordinary.

Re: Covid
I am isolating til the weekend. Then I’m back next week (I think, there’s a bit of confusion). Then after that I’m off for a fortnight on annual leave. So much time, so little options.
