And it goes on.
More than 40,000 people could die this summer as the Delta variant of coronavirus sweeps through the UK, even after Boris Johnson’s decision to delay the lifting of lockdown restrictions by four weeks to 19 July, scientists have warned.

Russia just had it's highest ever daily death toll.

It's not going away is it?

I think the pubs have already seen trade fall off after the initial boost from opening.

My mates mrs tested positive today. He tested negative. Both double jabbed. How can she have it and not pass it on to him? How can she have it if she’s double jabbed?

So many questions. I just tested myself as a few people at work are isolating again. Im negative. Which probably means I’ve got it. :icon_confused:

Happens a lot. Think I've already said that I know people that live together where one caught it and one didn't. This virus is all over the shop.

Death rates going up again, and everything is thrown open again on Monday.

Can see a winter lockdown.

It can take 10 to 14 days for the second dose to give immunity which I don't think people are realising
Also isn't the vast majority of the British public on Astra Zenica which was always only ever 85% effective

So it's not impossible not to get it if vaccinated.
I heard some doctor on the radio say that all the social distancing and sanitising has given us all weaker immune systems as we would have ordinarily fought other bugs like season flu.

My wife had it in January and I did not.

Got my second Pfizer dose today

She got her second about the same time I got mine, which made me think

Her fella has two Pfizer jabs but tests negative, seem that’s the superior jab tbh

I had the Astra Zenica jab twice like. We have really good immune systems in the family so I didn't think I needed it but thought it was the right thing to do.

The impact of euro final get togethers now showing itself with you chaps. Gone a bit rampant again over here too yet we are still opening the indoor stuff . Seems ilike the government is caving into pressure as it makes no sense

Yeah. Bloke I know went to the semi final. Said they were packed in like sardines on Wembley way and the trains. Not a single mask on show.

There is only so much we can do, we're going to have to accept that this is a more dangerous flu and get on with it. Most of the public are double jabbed now and while the infection rate is shooting up the deaths aren't.

Anyone still wearing a mask? Have to admit I'm not. Went to the supermarket during my lunch though and most people still are.

I do at the supermarket etc but I really don’t want to, it’s just to stop me getting in arguments. I might ditch it soon. I’m not convinced.
