Re: Covid
Infections round my way have halved since lockdown. We were in the top five in the country a couple of weeks back.
1800 Dead in 24 hours though. Going to be 100,000 in total by the weekend.

Jesus think about that number 100kInfections round my way have halved since lockdown. We were in the top five in the country a couple of weeks back.

Think of a full Anfield twice over
Each head a coffin
Each coffin a family grieving
Disgusting number of deaths which the Torres have some blame for

Re: Covid
A strain 30% more deadly. Not my last shit, but the new Covid.
This year is also fucked.
Sounds like schools won't be going back until after Easter, so lockdown for another couple of months over here.

Re: Covid
A three month lockdown AFTER Easter.
That's about eight weeks away as it is.

Online. Actually, it doesn't sound like lockdown at all.

Re: Covid
They'll probably get it before us.
Re: Covid
Dub, you may have seen this on the news yesterday.
My best mate who I lived with for years up North followed me down to Dublin then married my Mrs best friend after we sat them together at our wedding.
They own a pub, still doing meal deliveries as the food is outstanding, so my mate was there yesterday, with the only chef they could keep on.
An Ex chef who they had to let go when the latest lockdown happened let himself in as he knew the codes.
Mate was ushering him out when he pulled a knife. Ended up stabbed 23 times, face, skull, back , armpits and hands, and a nick to the heart which they only discovered this evening
Kid was schizophrenic apparently, which they knew when employing him
Whilst it could easily have been a funeral, we are just glad he's still here ... I'm in bits for them all.
Mental health and Covid , we hear about it , but when this happens its hard to equate.
Actually I just remembered he was on here for a very brief time - think he was the only non Reds fan ever

Re: Covid
Turns out the first person to die of it in the UK lived about three miles from where I'm sitting.
