Any of you beasts sampling anything interesting? I've kind of got pulled into the whole craft beer thing because a mate started his own brewery and Is doing well and all that. Which is great for me and probably better for my liver than whisky.

Anyways some of these beers are superb. I know it's all hipster and the zany cans and names and all that, but some of the beer is out of this world.

I'll post some nice stuff if there's any interest on here

I believe I done a similar thread a few years ago, at the time the micro brewery fad was probably in its infancy.

I find now if I go looking that selection isn’t as good and that some of these brewers have become mainstream BrewDog being a prime example

Yeah but brewdog are doing things right tbf, still playing the game and looking after the little guy so fair play. Some of their beers are superb.

I won't be doing the gin thing as I can't stand it but it does seem popular.

You should try some of the higher strength stuff, Delerium, Verdant, stuff like that, so damn tasty. It's scary how easy it is to drink despite the high strength. But it's not really about just getting pissed, it's all about that flavour. Christ I'm thirsty writing this

Not bothered by them tbh, although i was in Putney the other day and the spoons there had Punk IPA on tap for £4 a pint and i was all over it.

I was in Wembley last week for A Perfect Circle, went in a Spoons before and ordered 2 pints of Doom Bar. Came to £3.98. I said no I ordered TWO pints. She was like yeah thats the price. Could have bowled me over with a feather tbh tbf
