I just can't get over how stupid some people are. The Romanian at work is a sucker for all that. He's a conspiracy theorist, and won't believe any thing in the main stream press, but some of the shit he posts on Facebook is outrageous. There was one share he did about some village finding an alien boy. It was a drawing. He also has told me loads of times about something smashing into the Earth killing us all. The date comes and goes, and we're all back at work on a Monday, and I point this out to him, and he just laughs. I tell him that these sites have lied so many times, and that he's seen it as things they say are going to happen don't happen and yet he still goes on them.

And then there's the racial stuff. A girl that lived a couple of doors along from me growing up is always posting Britain First type stuff. It's so clearly not true, I wonder if she knows, but just posts it anyway, but she never was that bright. Look at this. I could tell straight away that it was bullshit. It's clearly not London and is in fact outside the inquest of the Hillsborough inquiry.

Saying that though when we were about eight years old I got her to show me her actual arsehole, so swings and roundabouts really.

I'm on FB. Don't really post on it anymore. I've taken nearly every human off my news feed so it's just sport and things i want to hear about but yea occasionally i dip my toe into the pages of mongs that i know. They're posting some proper shite. Stuff about burkas, St George(who was from the middle east anyways)and Britain First vibes. The comments sections on things can reveal some proper shitehawks as well, sexist, misogynistic, racist shit.

My parents visited me in London last weekend and my old man says he has given up watching the news/world affairs. Just concentrating on his own life. By the time you're 64 i guess there is only so much BS you can be bothered to pay attention to.

I'm pretty much at that point myself tbf.

Fucked Facebook off, I only really use twitter for pop culture stuff (moaning about Star Wars mainly ) and barely even dip into the news.

If and when more balanced, reasonable views take the lead in the world I may show some interest again.
