They've had cameos before from people like Sigur Ros and Mastodon and they were fine as they were subtle. This was basically LOOK HERE IS ED SHEERAN, ITS ED SHEERAN, LOOK AT ED SHEERAN WHO IS HERE. Completely dragged me out of the show, awful scene.

First episode wasn't gr8, it felt like characters being moved into position and setting things up rather than anything actually happening ED SHEERAN ED SHEERAN LOOK AT ED FUCKING SHEERAN

But this week's one was better imho.

Didn't really like the end. Much more in to Twin Peaks although that's much further in front.

This season has been average, it feels a bit more obvious what will happen, it's building up to that last big battle, so it's taken some of the fun out of it.

I'm excited at the idea of Snow meeting Daenerys tbh but other than that yeah it's been a bit slow.

That should be good actually. Jon's more worried about the White Walkers than becoming king, but he's bound to in the end I reckon, even though he's a wet weekend.
