It’s snowed on and off, more on for the past 48 hours.
The storm is now starting but the temps have rose slightly, so it’s heavy hail rather than heavy snow . Lots of the damp stuff forecast / which one is the question.to current 8 inches could be gone or trebled by morning

So the forecast was 18 hours of wet. YR reporting sleet/ rain. Accu weather said it would be snow .
There’s 2 foot deep of the shit outside and it’s still dumping.

Was a pretty heavy storm . we got 18 inches in our sheltered back garden by noon yesterday so probably that is what actually fell. Went out and about and there was drifts up to 6 ft in places and that's like in a town so must have been pretty back out in the countryside

Did Liverpool escape the worst of it ? Didn't hear anything about the game being called off

It's pretty much all gone now. You wouldn't believe it after the last week. Some of the worst driving conditions ever.
