Just been asked by erself what would i want for Crimbo.
Just finishing The Sopranos - last years present- and whatr a fucking great present it was.
So this year another box set methinks.
Hearing lots about the wire, band of brothers and west wing.

RE: Box sets
The Wire is the one that gets mentioned by everyone. I don't think it has a hope in hell of living up to it, but people like Charlie Brooker think it's the bollocks, so it probably is worth a watch.
I've not seen a second of it though to be honest.

I've got band of brothers, an amazing program. It's only 10 eps though.
The other on I always harp on about is battlestar galactica.
I know the sci fi aspect puts people off but it's not really about that, more the people and stories in that setting. I've never been so hooked on a show.

24 is the best tv series of all time in my opinion.

RE: Box sets
Not a boxed set as such, but I started watching the first series of The Inbetweeners last week, which was alright for a couple of laughs.
As usual, not as funny as I was lead to believe, but I think I would have loved watching it if I was fourteen again. Even the streets they hang around in look a bit like the one's I used to knock around in.
True Blood series three for me next I think.

I liked series 3, best one so far. Still sort of shit, but in an enjoyable way.
I just did the penultimate episode of Band of Brothers, the concentration camp one. It sounds like a weird thing to say but I'd like to visit one someday. I'm not sure why really, it's not a pleasant thought. But y'know part of history, the dark side of humanity, all that I suppose.

Just finished Band of Brothers, goose pimple stuff tbf.
I saw the Pacific on Blu in Blockbuster for 30 sheets, that'll do for next week I think
That's cheaper than anywhere I've seen it online which is weird.
