The bloke on BBC breakfast just gave Rey a second name, the cunt. Might be a slip of the tongue.

I'm the same. I was going to smash Assassins Creed for a few hours before I go to see the film. I might still do it actually.

I feel
somewhat let down by that :icon_sad:

Maybe I need to see it again in a week or two. It certainly wasn't shite, and I did enjoy certain things. But most of it was basically pretty pointless.

Hmmmm

I was a massive let down for me. I got in at half three, but couldn't sleep I was so pissed off.

I love him, but having Edward Hitler turn up in the first five minuted put me off. Poe taking the piss out of Hux, was sort of funny, but it made Hux look like a pussy.

Leia blown out the the ship like she was, as unexpected, and I thought it was a great way to end he part in the films like that. Then what happened after that I have no words for. I can't believe adults wrote that bit.

Luke milking a lizard next to the sea.

Heavy CGI coming back in. Stuff like Rey walking up the hill and you could see a big sea monster in the water behind her made me think that George had sneaked back into the production.

The fucking racing big cats.

The woman put in there to help appeal to the Asian market. She lives. I was disappointed.

Del Toro was shit.

Captain Phasma. Looked brilliant in the trailers for TFA. Done fuck all in that film, and fuck all in this.

Snoke dying. Most unexpected, so not a bad thing. Feels like a waste of a character though.

Laura Dern was shit, and I normally like her.

Luke's legacy being ruined in my eyes.

I can go on and on.

The only parts I really enjoyed were the parts in Snoke's throne room and the parts with Kylo Ren.

Fuck this.

I'd agree with every word of that in fairness.
Luke Skywalker was going to murder Ben Solo in his sleep, what the actual fuck :icon_confused:

That fucking Finn and Rose storyline was Pointless and shit as fuck. Find a master code breaker in a casino wearing a red flower ffs, and Del Toro : :icon_uhoh:

It did have some decent moments but I'm too annoyed about too many things. Who the fuck was Snoke then? And that room he was in was shit. Red wall, ooooh.

Yeah, throne rooms seem outdated now. Someone sitting in a large chair all day with other people standing around them. Wouldn't happen. The fat that Snoke's guards were so dangerous against to powerful force user was shit as well. There was a lot of that in this film. We're lead to believe they can control the galaxy but they can't fight off five or six blokes with sabres and lances.

It did have some good moments, but the bad far outweigh the good by far.

I will go see it again at some point. I don't think it is an awful film but for me it just sort of didn't feel like Star Wars. I think they mentioned rebel scum twice, that was cringe

Yeah, I've though about that since then. I'm watching review vids on youtube now I've seen it. The positive ones seem to have a big following, and must be doing it for the dollar.

The ones I agree with seem to be ugly virgin like blokes doing the review in their bedsits.

Those are my people.

I enjoyed it :icon_uhoh:
But there definitely was some aids parts.

Leia doing a Neo and coming back from the dead made me laugh out loud, fucking stupid and ridiculous.

Who the fuck is Snoke? and Rey? maybe what Kylo told her about her parents was bullshit.

I really don't like General Hux, at all. Over the top evil cheesy and it just irks me (compare him to Moff Tarkin, no need for it). Let it pass in TFA but as Dave said, him in the first 5 minutes put me off.

I really need to see it again. I don't want to dislike it but it just didn't sit right. It's bothering me far more than any film should :icon_lol: :icon_sad:

The best way I can describe my feelings today is that whilst it's a decent film with some great moments, somehow, and in some way I can't explain, this is the film that will make me leave Star Wars behind. Probably about time tbh tbf :icon_sad:
