It's so close now it's hardly worth it. I reckon there will be though.

Must be if you ask me. Probably just before it's released. TFA and Rogue One had quite a few didn't.

Don’t link it or anything you cu

Watching Rogue One on sky here just realised it’s K2-SO Kevin Spacey tried to rape :icon_lol:

Went to see Thor today, it’s good but all posters and shit made me realise I won’t see Star Wars until 6 days after release :icon_uhoh:

Well that came out of nowhere. That must be Reys training bit like Luke in Empire.

New, non Skywalker trilogy written and produced by The Last Jedi director Rian (Ryan) Johnson...

Considering the hacks Disney have sacked since they took over you’d imagine giving the new director his own trilogy shows massive confidence in Ep8

Rey defo turning, Ben to turn back in 9

Yeah they must love TLJ to hand over a trilogy to him. Looking forward to something fresh and out of the Skywalker lineage.

Do you think people will easily adapt to a trilogy without Skywalkers (or the history surrounding them?) I enjoyed Rogue One more than AFA so I don't mind it personally.

Rey and Kylo switching sides sounds shit to me. Kylo is a mass murderer for a start. Hard to overlook that even in the Star Wars universe.

Not really, Vader still went to heaven after a couple decades of slaughter.

I'll keep an eye on things but after episode 9 comes and goes I'm worried that as much as I love it I'll get oversatur8ed by Star Wars shite, a la Marvel.

Rian Johnson seems decent though and it's a huge vote of confidence from Disney to announce this before seeing how Last Jedi is received.

Kenobi standalone sort of interests me. Vader and/or Palpatine, Plagueis standalones would interest me. Solo can gtfo.

Ooooh, imagine if Johnson goes for an old Republic trilogy, armies of jedi and sith and all that, now that would get me giddy :pounditrotate:

Tbf what Disney have done with Marvel is bloody great
Ok every movie isn’t going to be brilliant but the way they’ve built an interconnected universe so well is great
