The news thread
Re: The news thread
Brits may be in for a treat on Wednesday night - as a rocket launch is set to be visible over the UK.
The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will lift off from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida at around 4.33pm EDT - which makes that 9.33pm in the UK.
Any seen the international space station flying over lately

Nah it's nice and sunny here. Would love to see that. Not seen the space station Roly, but I know a couple of people that have. Love that stuff.
Re: The news thread

Not if I'm not on it. I quite like aircraft engineering actually.

Re: The news thread
Was just about to start a thread on it. This is the big one, the first astronauts going to the ISS via a SpaceX shuttle. I've been following the SpaceX launches for years and I'm genuinly giddy about this.
Half 9 the launch is. The further south you live the more chance you'll have of seeing it. Should be visible to the UK around 21:50 give or take a few minutes but best going out after the launch just incase.
