I've been watching that new Battlestar Galactica all week

I wouldn't normally go near something like this, but it got suxh good reviews I though I'd give it a shot.

It's fucking shit in parts, and pretty good in others in case you were wondering.I've got about fifty episodes to go as well, and lovefilm are sending nothing but this every time I send a disc back, which means I'm going to be watching this until Christmas.

It has a few greasy parts you're not wrong, but I promise you will love it. I cant wait to see them all again. Its been long enough now that I've forgotten enough about it to love it again.

Oh I didn't know you'd seen it.I'm just about to start the second series tonight.Got the whole lot lined up like I said.The episode when Starbuck got stranded on a moon and took over a Cylon fighter was so shit I nearly stopped watching it.And they nicked some of that from the early years

Yep, I loved it, absolutely loved it. Trust me, stick with it. Starbuck can be a bit annoying and Gayus Baltar. I don't want to tell you anything but there are a couple of moments in the show where I literally had goosebumps and was in disbelief at how a tv show could have me so gripped.

Gah! You fucker, I wants to watch it again now. Been waiting for the bluray boxset to come down in price but may have to indulge.....

Gaius has an interesting and varied story arc, his initial annoyingness goes away and he becomes a great character.

The thing I like about it is although its sci-fi, they keep all the sciencey stuff to a minimum and its more about the human issues and civilian and military issues etc, with a hint of mysticism and things like that thrown in.

I want the set. £90 cheapest so far on Play.

I take it it looks decent enough on blu?

It's nothing special, but as most of it is set in space it wouldn't I suppose.

I think the Blu reveals some of the shit sets they've used when it comes to planet based parts of the programme.

Started watching series two last night, but I was really tired and wasn't paying attention, so turned it off.I've watched about twelve episodes this week, so I might give it a rest till Monday now.

On Blu ray that's twenty discs with five episodes on each and each episode is 45 minutes long.Apart from the first two.They are an hour and a half each.
